Starting from and finishing in the popular seaside town of Porthcawl, this 8 mile walk will take you along the seafront, taking in the views across the Channel and through the summer hotspot of Porthcawl Town. Starting from the Hi Tide Inn, the walk takes a route along the promenade and the picturesque South Wales coast line, through the suburbs and the bustling town centre to return back at the Hi Tide Inn for a well deserved welcome party.
More than one in three of us will get cancer. For most of us it will be the toughest fight we ever face. And the feelings of isolation and loneliness that so many people experience make it even harder. But you don’t have to go through it alone. The Macmillan team is with you every step of the way.
So why not join us on our fun, family friendly walk and make it a heart-warming and rewarding day out by helping support people affected by cancer and their families. This walk is open to all ages and fitness levels. On the day, there will be car parking facilities at the Hi Tide near the start point where you will check in at the registration desk before you begin this sponsored walk.
If you are unable to take part but would like to volunteer or have any queries about taking part in the walk please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
