More than 1,000 people visited Macmillan’s stand during our time at the National Eisteddfod in Denbighshire.
1,057 people stopped by our stand for support and information, including bilingual and Welsh language flyers and booklets, or simply for a cuppa and a chat. Visitors included First Minister Carwyn Jones, Health Minister Mark Drakeford and five other Welsh Assembly Members.
Popular singer, TV and radio presenter Caryl Parry Jones (pictured) launched our World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event at the stand at 2pm on Friday 9 August.
Susan Morris, General Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support in Wales, said: 'Macmillan would like to thank everyone who visited our stand at the National Eisteddfod this year.
'We would also like to say a special thank you to Caryl Parry Jones for hosting our World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event at the stand.'
