Crowds at the Edinburgh Marathon will be seeing double when two sets of identical twins take on the marathon relay to raise cash for a charity that helped their families.
Eilidh and Rachel Walker, and Hannah and Rachel Lambert from Edinburgh, hope to help Macmillan Cancer Support raise a massive £600,000 from the two-day Edinburgh Marathon Festival on May 25 and 26.
Journalism student Eilidh said: 'We decided to run the relay for Macmillan because cancer has affected both of our families.
‘Macmillan aren’t just there for cancer patients. They are there for the families too we have seen first hand the great work that they do’.
Last year over 1000 runners ran for Macmillan across the weekend which includes a marathon, relay race, 10K and kids' races. We hope to break that record this year.
