Pony Trek
20 riders took to the roads around Elgin with their horses to raise a fantastic £2100 for Macmillan Cancer Support last month. The group, made up of young and old with varying experience, held a sponsored ride on Saturday 1st May.
Each rider wore Macmillan sashes and saddled up for a day long trek. Some individuals managed to raise over £300 each.
Fundraising manager Katie Smart comments: "This is a really great way for the group to raise money, they are doing something they love and helping other people at the same time. We are really grateful to the riding group for choosing Macmillan to benefit from this kind gesture."
