Strathendrick Rotary Club will be raising money for Macmillan with a Classic Car Tour for classic and interesting cars of any age.
Now in its seventh year, the Strathendrick Rotary Classic Car Tour coincides with ‘Drive Day’ a national day for classic car owners to take their cars out to show the popularity of the classic car movement. Over the past six years Stathendrick Rotary has raised over £30,000 for charity and this year has chosen to support Macmillan Cancer Support and Scottish charity 500 Miles.
This year’s 120 mile route is almost entirely new – starting from the Beech Tree Inn, Dumgoyne, driving over the Campsies, across to Fife with lunch at Kinnairds Restaurant, Knockhill and returning through Perthshire and finishing back at Culcreuch Castle, Fintry for High Tea and an Award Ceremony.
There’s no entry fee but each entrant will be expected to raise a minimum of £25 sponsorship. Don’t delay if you want to join in this wonderfully enjoyable day with like-minded classic car enthusiasts. Application forms can be found on the Strathendrick Rotary Club website| or contact Joe Norman by email| or by phone on 01877 382075.
