The Rotary Club of Anstruther is for the fourth year organizing the coastal walk, to raise funds for charities. The walk has raised over £30,000 for local charities in its four years, so why not choose to walk for Macmillan in 2013?
Sunday 26 May 2013
The start and end point, as in previous years, is in the field on the St Andrews road, 200 yards from the beautiful and historic Royal Burgh of Crail.
Reception will be open from 08:30 am to 1.30 pm.
There will be ample parking for those driving, plenty of toilets, and two Scout marquees; one of which has refreshments and the second where the Rotary Club ask you to report after parking your car.
You can pre-register by downloading the form below, and sending to Colin Campbell|, or you can register on the day.
On the day registration is £10 per adult (children under 16 are free), and you can do this at the Scout marquee. Those who have paid £5 and pre-registered must also check in.
Make sure to pre-register before 19th May, so the Rotary Club can ensure you receive your brochure, map and sponsorship forms before the day!
Once you’ve checked in, you will be taken by minibus to your walk start point at either Anstruther Golf Club (6 miles), or the west end of Earlsferry (13 miles).
There will be a check-point in each village you pass through, where cheery Rotarians will encourage you on your way.
The choice of 6 miles or more is yours – take as long as you like – we will be at Crail when you finish, with a warm welcome, a certificate of your walk and a medal.
The Rotary Club of Anstruther allow walkers to choose their own charities- so make sure you put Macmillan Cancer support as your chosen charity on your pre-registration form!

More than one in three of us will get cancer. For most of us it will be the toughest fight we ever face. And the feelings of loneliness and isolation that so many people experience make it even harder.
Now, more than ever, we need people like you to join our team and get involved. By taking part in a walk, you can make a huge difference for people affected by cancer.
For more information on how to get involved, please call us on 0300 1000 200 (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm) or send us an email|.
No one should face cancer alone. And with your support no one will.
Together, we are all Macmillan Cancer Support.
