Macmillan Cancer Support would like to say a huge thank you to the committee, members and supporters of the Eglinton Classic Car Club for their support throughout 2009 and for raising the fantastic total of £5,000 to help support local people living with cancer.
The club organised an old vehicle display at the City of Derry Rugby Club last April and Macmillan were the chosen charity.
John Nixon, Chairperson for the club commented:
'The club was delighted to be supporting Macmillan in 2009 and the dedication and support from their volunteers allowed us to raise the fantastic amount of £5,000 for them - it was a pleasure to work with them.'
