The family of four year old Ellie Louise are set to launch a fundraising event this March following their toughest year in 2012.
‘When we rang in the New Year in 2012, little did we know what was ahead of us’ said the devastated parents of four year old Ellie Louise Brown. Ellie Louise was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia on 28 March 2012. Ellie Louise’s Parents will never forget hearing the news.
The Brown family are eager to thank everyone who helped them in 2012 and who are continuing to help. Speaking about their brave daughter, Fiona Brown says ‘Until you are in the unthinkable situation of dealing with your child with cancer you do not appreciate how much good these charities do to help you through each day.’
The Brown family are marking 28 March 2013 with a fundraising event in honour of the four charities that helped them, including Macmillan. They are also asking that the local community help them to raise awareness of childhood cancer and fundraise or donate.
