Fundraising Manager Julie Campbell at Moy Park
Moy Park will be raising the bar for Macmillan Cancer Support this year right across the company encouraging all their staff to join with them in raising £20,000 for the charity.
As Macmillan Cancer Support celebrates its first 100 years, Moy Park has pledged their corporate support and is asking their staff to get involved with their appeal.
Nigel Dunlop, Managing Director welcomed Moy Park’s new charity, 'We are proud to adopt a charity partner that provides a vital and extremely necessary service within the local communities and one that has a real impact on the daily lives of many people.
'In their centenary year Macmillan Cancer Support is delivering their services with compassion and dignity and we want to support that enthusiastically.
'The annual Macmillan coffee morning has been a much-loved feature organised at Moy Park for years and this will continue to be just one event in a whole range of activities programmed for the coming year.
'The people at Moy Park have a strong history of involvement in their community and work across a range of charities through organising fundraising events, fun activities and devoting time, energy and resources to volunteering. Through the previous campaigns the generosity and commitment of our people raised over £50k for charities and our goal is to reach a minimum £20,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.'
Julie Campbell, Fundraising Manager from Macmillan Cancer Support welcomed the support from Moy Park saying, 'We are thrilled to be working in partnership with Moy Park. They have pledged to get involved in an array of their own and Macmillan Events and hope to raise an outstanding £20,000 throughout this partnership.'
Julie continued, 'This level of support is invaluable to Macmillan and we are extremely grateful to Moy Park for this commitment.'
