Heather Monteverde & Thomas Cottam of Macmillan Cancer Support gave evidence to the Department of Social Development Committee at Stormont this week – to highlight the changes needed in Northern Ireland’s services to cope with the UK Welfare Reform changes.

The Committee has MLA’s from all the political parties on it, and there was broad agreement that the Health and Benefits services in Northern Ireland need to work closely together to ensure cancer patients do not miss out on support they are entitled to.
