H&J Martin has chosen Macmillan as its first Charity of the Year following a company-wide vote.
Noel McKee, head of the Charity Committee at H&J Martin Limited said 'We were looking for a charity which can make a real difference in people’s lives. Macmillan Cancer Support fitted the bill, not only do we hope to raise valuable funds, but it’s important that we also help to raise awareness for the services they provide to help those living with cancer.'
Macmillan improves the lives of people affacted by cancer by providing practical, medical and financial support and pushing for better cancer care.
H&J Martin will be organising various fundraisers across NI to raise funds as well as getting involved in an array of Macmillan events.
