A leading cancer charity is calling on people across Northern Ireland to take on one of its toughest fundraising challenges yet - a game of golf.
Macmillan Cancer Support is looking for teams to play a massive 72-holes of golf in one day, hitting 300 shots and walking 20-miles.
The charity estimates the challenge will take at least 16-hours to complete.
The four teams that score the highest and raise the most money for Macmillan will be taken to Portugal to play for the Longest Day Golf trophy at the Boavista Golf Resort, Lagos, in October.
Macmillan’s head of fundraising in Northern Ireland , said:
'Every penny raised from this challenge will help Macmillan support people affected by cancer around Scotland, so it’s a very worthwhile way to spend a day - even one of the longest you’ll ever have!'
To take part in the event golfers need to get a team together and contact a golf course to book playing time before the end of August.
Then simply register with Macmillan to get a free fundraising pack.
