Pauline Smith
Pauline Smith, from Offenham, Evesham has been presented with a prestigious award by Macmillan Cancer Support, at the charity’s Centenary Garden at BBC Gardeners’ World Live at the NEC, Birmingham.
The garden was part of Macmillan’s centenary celebrations so it felt appropriate to honour the work of Pauline, being a member of the charity’s tireless army of volunteers, without whom we would not have achieved nearly so much over the last 100 years.
Pauline received the Douglas Macmillan award for representing and speaking up for Macmillan to help raise money, promote its charitable purpose and influence the development of cancer services.
