Hungry revellers tucking in
On Saturday 18 June, Catherine Pullan hosted a solstice party at her own stone circle in Winterbourne Bassett and managed to raise a fantastic £762 for people living with cancer.
The party was great fun, with plenty of drinking and dancing, music provided by the excellent local band Kings of Knowing who played into the night. The men turned into boys when a tank made an appearance, with some fulfilling a lifetime dream of driving one (or at least pretending to).
Catherine is raising money for Macmillan this year in memory of her father, who sadly died in the Spring and was supported by Macmillan Nurses in Oxfordshire.
