We are Macmillan. Cancer Support
The second of Phil D’Arcy’s garden parties in Swindon took place on Sunday 17 July and was another culinary triumph.
Phil began fundraising for Macmillan last year and his garden parties this summer have raised £200.
'My Mum went to a Macmillan supported Day Centre in Reading and she got a lot from it. I also had a friend who sadly died from cancer at the really young age of 24. I wanted to do something positive for Macmillan, just as they support people from all sections of the community (as cancer affects all sections of the community).'
Next on Phil’s fundraising agenda this year is the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 30 September
