Macmillan Cancer Support| would like to say a huge thank you to Featherstone prison for their generous donation of £200 to the charity. The money was raised by a staff lottery whereby regular donations are given to a nominated charity.
Diane Wright and Jill Murrall from Macmillan| recently visited the prison to collect the donation from John Mauldridge, Head of Prison Security and Mr Paul Newton, Prison Governor.
Featherstone prison has always been very supportive of Macmillan| and their regular support makes such a difference to the lives of local people in the Black Country who are affected by cancer.
Macmillan| really couldn’t continue the work that we do without the support of people like them so thank you for thinking of us!
