A massive thank you to everyone who took part in the 2010 Birmingham Mail Fun Run for Macmillan on Sunday 2 May. It was incredible to see so many people brave the cold weather to make this a very special day.
Almost 1,100 supporters took to the streets of Birmingham turning it into a sea of green in their Macmillan t-shirts. We also loved the amount of people who took the time and effort to take part in fancy dress this year – more than ever before and some very creative costumes were seen on the day!
The day saw all parts of the community coming together to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan. Over the last two years the event has raised over £170,000 and with all the participants support this year we really hope to break the £250,000 barrier as our grand total in our third year.
We hope you all had a wonderful time and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
