Birmingham City Football Club to support Macmillan

Birmingham City Football Club has announced that it will support Macmillan Cancer Support into its Centenary year of 2011. The partnership ‘kicks off’ in the New Year at the Blues home game against Manchester United on Saturday 9 January 2010.

Macmillan Chief Executive Ciaran Devane will be attending and is delighted to be at St. Andrews to help launch such an exciting partnership.

The new owners are very much community minded and already there are plans in place going forward that will help the Blues and Macmillan make a difference to the lives of people living with cancer, helping to change lives.
