Director Andy Sweeney presents Macmillan's Sharon Battersby with the donation
The Best Connection Employment Group based in Halesowen have given a donation of £3,000 to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Instead of giving a gift to their clients for Christmas 2009, the company decided to give a donation to charity instead and nominated charities for their clients to vote for. Macmillan got 60% of the vote which then equated to a donation received of £3,000.
Neil Yorke, director said:
'Although cancer is a word everyone fears, the reality is that more and more people are living with and beyond cancer in our society today. 'Coping with cancer is made more bearable for many by the tireless work and practical, emotional and financial support provided by the Macmillan organisation. We are delighted to be able to make a contribution to them.'
