Stuart Kettell is no stranger to fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support. Over the years, he has raised a staggering £16,398 for us.
He has flown around the UK coast in a flex-wing microlight (only days after getting his licence) and cycled from Land's End to John O’Groats on a penny farthing. So we didn’t blink when he told us that his latest challenge was to cross the channel in a kayak. But no, this wasn’t enough for Stuart. So he has decided to kayak from London to the Coventry Basin as well.
Early on the morning of Tuesday 14 July Stuart set off on his mammoth challenge. He completed the Channel crossing in a very impressive time. Stuart then kayaked from Westminster to Coventry going through over 200 locks and arriving in Coventry five days later. A huge thank you to Stuart, his family and everyone who has supported him over the years.
