Originally we were going to do the cycle to raise money for Sorafenib (Nevavar) for Sonny's mum who sadly had kidney cancer. Eventually their local NHS relented and began paying for the drugs so we chose the raise money for the Macmillan Nurses. This was mainly because Simon's grandad and Sonny's mum had been fantastically supported through their struggles with cancer by the nurses.
