Representatives from Bridgestone today handed over a cheque for over £2,041 raised at their recent summer party, to Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event, held at Leamington Football Club in late July, was a great opportunity to raise money for a worthy cause, and featured a charity auction of electronic equipment and football memorabilia, as well as a raffle of over forty prizes.
Simon Garnett, from Bridgestone, said: 'It’s fantastic to be able to support Macmillan, a charity whose work touches the lives of so many people.'
'Making this the focus of our summer party allowed Bridgestone staff to network and have fun, whilst raising over £2000 to help fund MacMillan’s vital services. I would also like to thank Leamington Football Club for their support in making the event a great success.'
