A safety incentive at Tyneside Offshore Construction company, OGN, has donated £1,200 to Macmillan Cancer Support’s local services.
Peter Duffy, Structural supervisor at OGN, nominated Macmillan to receive this donation at a presentation at the North Tyneside yard following support his family had received.
OGN and Apache are focussed on a continued need to ensure that safety standards are of paramount importance. The safety incentive scheme is therefore designed to help encourage all personnel to work safely and to actively promote a behaviour aimed at achieving a high level of safety awareness.
Local Fundraising Manger, Kelly Knighting-Wykes, said: ‘I really enjoyed meeting all of the staff at OGN and we really appreciate this fantastic donation which will support Macmillan’s services locally’.
