Walkers to take on charity challenge

Join us for the Halsmere Walk

Macmillan Cancer Support’s Haslemere Walk which had to be postponed due to the adverse weather conditions is now planned for Sunday 16 September 2012. Macmillan is calling all local walkers and residents to walk for someone they love and raise money for the charity to help make a difference to local people living with cancer.

Local Fundraising Manager Mandy Kendall said: 'We’ve now consolidated our two routes into one, six mile walk which now avoids the muddy and hazardous sections. But we’ve kept the best and most beautiful bit of the walk, the Black Down. You’ll be able to enjoy the stunning views across three counties before heading back to Haslemere where we’ll welcome you back with a hot drink and some goodies to celebrate your achievement.'

The Haslemere Walk is one of over 55 fabulous Miles for Macmillan walks organised with support from Boots across the UK.
