Charity football game raises £730

Thank you to Bob Wilkinson and everyone who took part in the Charity Football Day at Bosham FC.

A fantastic £730 was raised for Macmillan at a charity football match at Bosham FC, West Sussex, on Sunday 28 October.

Kick off was at 11am and a Stag's Head team (consisting mainly of old Bosham players) beat a Bognor Regis over 40s by 3-0. Goals from Lattimer, Fowler, and Cheshire made sure the Stag's Head strolled to a comfortable victory.

After the match, everyone enjoyed a few beers and hot food in the packed Bosham FC clubhouse. Players and supporters gave generously to Macmillan, as did regulars of the Stag's Head.

Bob said: 'The day was a success due to the efforts of Fred & Debby at the Stag's Head plus Gary Butcher and Eric Newton's behind the scenes work.
