Media volunteering opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic media volunteer to help us raise awareness and promote our fantastic fundraisers.

This part time role is based at our Farnham office and will include:

• writing press releases for a range of supporters, eg individual fundraisers and corporate partners to publicise and celebrate their events
• interviewing fundraisers and case studies
• work on specific fundraising campaigns, such as the World's Biggest Coffee Morning
• securing photo opportunities for fundraisers with local papers
• working with a small, friendly fundraising team; journalists; and fundraisers.

This role would suit:

• those with a background in journalism
• media students looking to develop experience of journalismand great writers with lots of ideas.
