The Corrie jeans
The cast of Britain’s longest-running soap, Coronation Street, have each individually signed their names on a pair of white jeans to be auctioned for the benefit of Macmillan Cancer Support during Corrie’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
The unique pair of Wizard Jeans will raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support in an online programme of bidding concluding at the end of March 2011.
‘Each of the current cast has signed their name on the legs of the jeans,’ says Sally Allen, of Wizard Jeans. ‘Some of the characters have already gone to that great soap opera in the sky in the latest Corrie story-line, so these jeans will undoubtedly become a truly historic fashion garment.’
