Punk Aid was held at The Duke of Cumberland in Gateshead on the 27th February, including live bands and sponsored head shaves. All proceeds were for Macmillan Cancer Support|.
Our volunteer Hannah Kidd went along to represent Macmillan|:
'It was a fantastic event with fun had by all who attended. Many thanks to the organisers and the participants for all their effort, hard work and good humour. It was great to see so many people coming together to support Macmillan| and really make a difference.'
The bands that played included: Rigid Digits|, Face Shredder, Hand Held, Ego Zombies, The Dipso Maniacs, Hi Fi Spitfires and many more.
