Staff at G4S Utilities Services on Cobalt Business Park have been working hard to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support throughout 2011.
As part of Macmillan's Centenary celebrations last year G4S signed up to take part in the local Business Challenge and raised £2,248 for services supporting local people living with cancer.
Steve Cole, CSR Co-ordinator and Sue McGarvie, Facilities and Environmental Co-ordinator for G4S organised different activities throughout the year including seasonal raffles and team challenges.
Steve said: "We really enjoyed taking part in the challenge and we didn't expect to raise so much money so fast. So many people are affected by cancer, so it was something close to a lot of staff and everyone was keen to get involved."
