Hartlepool Rotary carry on their dedicated support to Macmillan as their charity for the year.
Twenty four teams of golfers headed to Seaton Carew golf club to take part in the sponsored golf day.
The event organised by Ted Jackson of the Hartlepool Rotary club was followed by an evening event with George Colley Singers at Hartlepool College of further education.
Mr Jackson was delighted with the amount raised for local people affected by cancer.
