Call in to Pickering Memorial Hall on Saturday 29 September, and you’re sure to find something wonderful waiting for you at the extravaganza that is happening.
With doors open from 9am until 12.30pm, everyone is invited to call in for some sumptuous refreshments, and browse the fantastic array of stalls from local crafts people.
The event is being held as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s, World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and event organiser, Paula Appleby, explains more: 'everyone knows somebody who’s been touched by cancer. This is a lovely way for the community to get involved and help to make a difference.'
Sally Millington, local Fundraising Manager says: 'This is set to be a lovely coffee morning, enjoying a delicious homemade cake and coffee, and there will be some lovely gift ideas too for any birthdays, anniversaries or those already thinking about Christmas. Whether you pop in for ten minutes or two hours, on your own or with friends and family, your support really does count.'
'Cancer is the toughest fight most of us will ever face. Macmillan is here to make sure no one has to go through it alone. The money raised will be helping to improve the lives of people affected by cancer both locally and across the UK.'
