Chief Ombudsman Lewis Shand Smith presents cheque to Macmillan.
Ombudsman Services at Stockton Heath has raised more than £1,400 for Macmillan.
As well as taking part in Macmillan’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’, the company, which resolves complaints across a range of sectors has donated £10 for each member of staff who took part in an employee survey.
Lewis Shand Smith, Chief Ombudsman, says, ‘We are passionate about the amazing work that Macmillan does.’
Local Fundraising Manager Gillian Wilson says, ‘We simply could not do what we do without the support of our dedicated fundraisers like Ombudsman Services. We couldn’t provide the nurses and therapists that help people through treatment. We couldn’t offer advice to people affected by cancer and we couldn’t campaign to improve cancer care. We can’t thank Ombudsman Services enough.’
