Coffee Morning at Maxwell Hodge Solicitors

Gayle Woods and David Wooding, both lawyers at the firm of Maxwell Hodge Solicitors, joined Macmillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning, to raise money for the charity and give supporters the chance to enjoy a chat and some tasty treats, while helping the worthwhile cause.

This is what they had to say: 'Cancer has affected the majority of us in one way or another and is prominent in every community, so supporting Macmillan's Coffee Morning seemed like the perfect local community fundraiser for our local branch in Huyton.

'We have an extremely enjoyable morning. All the staff brought in delicious home baked cakes and local businesses donated a massive selection of prizes for our raffle which sold all the 1000 tickets, raising just under £250 for the charity in a few hours.'
