The World of Glass, one of the North West’s top tourist attractions, will be hosting its first World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Wednesday 26 October for Macmillan Cancer Support at their exciting visitor attraction in St Helens.
The museum opens at 11am until 3pm and the fun event will encourage families, friends and the local community to enjoy coffee and cakes including some gluten free goodies, raffles and activities all supported by staff.
Anne Jamieson, Chef/Manager explains: 'We wanted to raise much needed funds for Macmillan because we are all aware of the great work that they do and feel strongly about supporting such a great cause to help them provide more services for cancer patients and their families. It’s also a great excuse to eat cake and have fun!'
Judith Stewart, Fundraising Manager commented: 'The staff at The World of Glass are fantastic – the event is sure to be a success and we are so grateful for their support.'
'With one in three of us getting a cancer diagnosis at some point in our lives, Macmillan can’t provide all of the vital cancer services it needs to without your help. So come along and support this event whilst enjoying the brilliant facilities for children and adults alike.'
