Whether you're planning a wedding or civil partnership, about to celebrate an anniversary or in the process of organising a birthday to remember, we're in no doubt that your guest list will include loved ones and those that mean the most to you.
You may well be interested to know that Macmillan can be a part of your celebrations through In Lieu of Gifts donations.
By supporting Macmillan, your gift will help those affected by cancer. In addition, by raising awareness of who we are and what we do, we can support even more people living in your community.
If you have been affected by cancer, whether you've been diagnosed yourself, cared for a loved one who has, or may be dealing with the news that someone you love has cancer, you may feel it appropriate to include Macmillan somewhere in your plans for your special event.
Please do get in touch and talk to us about...
We can advise you on how to include Macmillan to make your day remain personal to you. For example, you may wish to remember a loved one, as Diane did on her daughter’s Wedding day:
'We decided that we wanted to do something to remember my husband, at my daughter’s wedding. Instead of favours we donated to Macmillan in his name and put badges on the tables as favours. It was hard for us all as he had only died a couple of years before. This made us feel as though we hadn’t forgotten him.' Diane, Macmillan Supporter
If you've lost a loved one to cancer and want to understand how we could support you with In memoriam donations please get in touch. We have a dedicated Tribute Site to remember those who have meant something to you.
