The Club is situated in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside in a tranquil setting surrounded by farmland with magnificent views. It boasts 27 holes of scenic parkland golf and a new Clubhouse.
'I was delighted when Richard Gee - General Manager rang me to ask for a meeting as they were considering Macmillan Cancer Support as their Charity of the Year,' Jayne Sullivan Fundraising Manager for Staffordshire says. 'Having met with Richard and his team we were ecstatic when they chose Macmillan to support.'
Various members of the club have been in the unfortunate position of experiencing cancer first hand and because of this and knowing about all the good work from these people that Macmillan do it seemed the perfect choice.
Throughout the year they have various events planned which include Quiz Nights, Duck Race, Fashion Show plus many more and of course they will be taking part in Macmillan Cancer Supports major events in 2010 the Longest Day Golf Challenge on 21 June (insert link please) and the Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning on 24 September (insert link please)
