Nicole Folbigg
Nicole Folbigg is an absolutely inspirational lady and has supported us for many many years, raising a phenomenal amount. This year she is taking part in the London Marathon, but she has also written a poem book to sell completely in aid of us.
Following diagnosis and treatment for cervical cancer I found an outlet for coping with my life changing experience through writing poetry and so 'a penny for your thoughts' was created, a collection of 40 poems written during and after my cancer treatment.
Writing poetry has helped me come to terms with having a life changing diagnosis and the long term effects of cancer, most painfully never being able to have a baby I long for.
I hope reading my book will help open hearts and minds and remind us all of how precious life is.
