Macmillan's new advertising campaign
This week we have launched a brand new advertising campaign that will reach 19 million people living with, or directly affected by cancer.
Cancer is a tough journey, and through our new ad campaign we’ve tried to show that Macmillan is there to help cancer sufferers every step of the way.
Our ‘every step of the way’ adverts follow the footsteps of five cancer patients showing how the Macmillan team have supported them through treatment and beyond. One voice, for instance, highlights the role of our Macmillan nurses in supporting people through diagnosis:
‘You just hear that word, cancer, and you can’t take it in. But then there was Carol, my Macmillan nurse, and she was saying, ‘I can help you through this.’’
From the online community, to the Macmillan nurses and benefits advisors, our new ad campaign highlights the many ways that Macmillan can help. We hope that this will raise awareness of Macmillan and all of the great work that we do. As well as TV ads, we will be running a series of print adverts on billboards and bus shelters as well as online, getting the Macmillan message out there to everyone that’s affected by cancer.
