Leyland masonic
Thank you to Leyland and District Group of Freemasons who donated £250 towards a grant to cover practical needs of people affected by cancer.
Tony and Dorothy Bonser from the Macmillan South Ribble Fundraising Group received the cheque at Wellington Park, Leyland where the second annual group giving day was held.
Around 80 Members of the Leyland Group and representatives from the charities filled Temple 1, Stewart Seddon Group Chairman welcomed everyone to Wellington Park and introduced Ray Martland, Assistant Provincial Grand Master, who was delighted announce each cheque presentation.
Macmillan Cancer Support received £100 from Euxton Lodge No 7192, £50 from Penwortham Chapter No 5874 and £100 from the Leyland and District Group. During the year they have also received £350 from the Southport Group and £150 from the South Fylde Group of Lodges totalling £750.
