Kleeneze raises record sum for Macmillan

The fundraising team at Macmillan Cancer Support would like to say a huge thank you to the staff and distributors at Kleeneze.

Kleeneze raised a staggering £19,000 for people affected by cancer in 2010.

The money was raised through local events, employee fundraising and a successful reindeer sales promotion.

Aggie Sheppard, Area Fundraising Manager said: 'We are so grateful to all the staff, distributors and customers of Kleeneze, for this wonderful contribution. Macmillan works to improve the lives of people affected by cancer, and we provide emotional, practical, medical and financial support. Whether it’s counselling, a grant to help with the additional costs that cancer can bring, advice on benefits, a Macmillan nurse to help people in their home, or just someone to talk to – different people need different kinds of support and we aim to be there for them.

'99% of Macmillan’s income comes from fundraised income and donations, and so we really appreciate the continued support from Kleeneze.'
