Legacy Event at Boughton Montchelsea Place
Gifts in wills fund over a third of Macmillan Cancer Support’s services.
Surprised? Most people are, which is why Macmillan hosted a legacy reception event recently at Boughton Monchelsea Place. The event provided a rare opportunity to hear lots about Macmillan’s work in the local area, meet Macmillan’s amazing professionals, as well as the regional Macmillan legacy adviser Nancy Kirkham.
A couple of guests commented: 'I would consider leaving a gift in my will to help fund the valuable work Macmillan nurses provide. We have had friends and family who have had cancer and the support was invaluable.'
Gifts in wills are vital in enabling Macmillan to provide medical, emotional, financial and practical support now and for future generations of people affected by cancer.
