Ruth and her cakes
Ruth Lawrence, who lives in Gillingham, held an Afternoon Tea which raised £334.61.
The event, which was held on Sunday 22 June 2011 at Brand’s Hatch at the BEMSEE Motorcycle Racing Club was a great success. Ruth, who is currently receiving cancer treatment in Medway, said 'I wanted to give something back to the charity as a thank you for all its support.'
All of the total raised will go towards helping people affected by cancer in the local area and across the UK.
