A Kings Estate Agent branch
Kings Estate Agents - with branches in Borough Green, Meopham, Sevenoaks and Swanley - have been going all out to raise much needed funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Since September last year a staggering £8,500 has been raised through lettings and property sales. Staff have also engaged in a number of fundraising activities including hosting the World's Biggest Coffee Morning at their branches.
Proprietor, Crispin Williams, said: 'In 11 months we have donated an incredible £8,500 which is way over our initial expectation and a fantastic result. My thanks go to staff and clients who have helped raise this sum of money for Macmillan, and Kings is looking forward to supporting this wonderful charity for another year.'
Macmillan Cancer Support is the UK’s leading cancer care charity and provides emotional, financial, practical and medical support to cancer patients, their family and friends.
Macmillan’s Kent Fundraising Manager, Moira Mitchell, adds: 'Approximately 8,000 people in Kent are diagnosed with cancer every year and across the county we have a team of 128 Macmillan Healthcare Professionals working in hosptials and in the community. The money raised to date by Kings Estate Agents could fund a Macmillan Nurse for two months, which is an amazing achievement and I am delighted to be working with this caring company into 2014.'
