Participants celebrate their success after walking over hot coals to raise money for Macmillan.
On a mild March evening, 135 daredevil fundraisers felt the heat in Southampton Guildhall Square, when they trod the coals for one of the world's shortest charity walks.
The fearless fundraisers bared their feet for the 20ft fire walk, where the coals reached a sole-scorching 800 degrees fahrenheit.
Don't worry, they were fully prepared. Everyone attended a mind over matter training session, which included board and arrow breaking.
During the seminar, supporters were entertained by dancing from Jade Millington Dance Power, face painting from Obsidian and music from Anja McCloskey.
Hundreds of onlookers cheered on the participants as they faced the red-hot challenge.
Brave first time fire walker, Daisy Greening, said, 'It wasn't until we had the training that it dawned on me that we were really going to walk on fire.
'The training session was lots of fun and very inspirational, it made me feel so motivated. I couldn't wait to hit the coals. My feet tingled a little afterwards, but it was a fantastic experience and definitely a walk to remember.'
These brave supporters have so far raised almost £20,000, with the final total expected to be around £25,000, which will be used to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
A big thank you to everyone who helped out, supported and took part in the event.
