Our organisation was started by a volunteer nearly one hundred years ago, and today they’re still at the very heart of everything we do. Join us and together we can make a difference.

Every donation|, big or small, makes an essential difference to people living with cancer. Please donate online|, or remember us in your will|.
Could you use your hobby, or get together with friends to raise money for Macmillan|. Why not set yourself a challenge and get sponsorship? What about making us your charity at work or at school? We will help with any events you might like to plan.
Whether it's the World's Biggest Coffee Morning|, the Virgin London Marathon|, or climbing Mount Kilimanjaro|, there is a Macmillan event for you| and we'll support you all the way.
Could you give us some of your time|? All help with events, collections and administration in the office is always very welcome.
Through you workplace, your school, your club, could you get together with friends and colleagues and raise money for the local people in the Greater Manchester area?
Would you like to share your experience of cancer to help others? By telling the personal stories of people like you, we help people engage with and understand our work. We also use real stories to influence government and, through the media, inform the public what living with cancer is really like.
