The team at Mcvities biscuits based at Harlesden have had a record breaking year and raised over £13k for Macmillan Cancer support.
Fundraising was done in a variety of ways including walking 20 bridges and approximately 20 miles along the Thames, organising a car boot sale on site and bids for the car park space nearest to the factory entrance. To date Mcvities have raised over £43,600 which goes a long way to helping those who need emotional financial and medical help to those affected by cancer.
Carole Heffernan local fundraising manger said, 'A big thank you to all on the charity Committees and employees at Mcvities for raising a record breaking £13096.18. This will fund a Macmillan nurse for at least 13 weeks. I am looking forward to working with you this year again.'
