Macmillan Cancer Support’s man of the moment, real-life coffee mug “Muggy”, chose to take the scenic route to work to promote World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on the distinctly yellow London Duck tour.
The vehicle, famous for navigating the sights of London by land and water, welcomed Muggy on board as he caused quite a stir amongst unsuspecting tourists, children and the public.
Muggy’s mission is to encourage friends, family and colleagues to get together every year to host a coffee morning to raise funds for people affected by cancer.
Macmillan Fundraising Manager for London, Simon Pedro, said: “Muggy did a great days’ work around London. This year we want to make World’s Biggest Coffee Morning the biggest ever and beat our record £10m total from 2011.
“What’s key is the funds we raise together go towards creating and maintaining vital local services for people affected by cancer in London.”
