Many thanks and congratulations to Mike Lea, Mike Davies, Ian Nichol and John Dalgleish who all completed the Ironman Challenge in July. The challenge consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle and a 26.2 mile run, which must all be completed in under 24 hours. The team completed the course in well under that time, and managed to raise well over £8,000 in sponsorship for Macmillan. Ian and Mike L both work at Jardine Lloyd Thompson insurance brokers, who recognised their achievement with a corporate donation of £5,000.
