The PPL UK Longest Day Golf team looking rightly triumphant
Macmillan would like to thank members from the fundraising team at PPL UK who have successfully completed our Longest Day Golf Challenge.
Macmillan Cancer Support would like to thank Kevin Puttock, Matt Hicks and Randall Thomas from PPL UK who bravely took part in our Longest Day Golf Challenge on 25th July. This involved playing a massive 72 holes, 300 shots and walking 20 miles - all in one day.
Aside from the challenge of walking over 20,000 yards however, Kevin was more worried about hitting the ball straight. However despite only 'loosely' referring to themselves as golfers the team managed to successfully complete the 72 holes and have raised a fantastic £552 as part of PPL UK's charity of the year fundraising. Congratulations guys.
