Gifts in Wills, fund over a third of all Macmillan Cancer Support’s services. Surprised? Most people are which is why Macmillan hosted a legacy reception event recently at Cliffs Pavilion.
The event provided a rare opportunity to hear lots about Macmillan’s work in the local area, meet Macmillan’s amazing professionals, as well as the regional Macmillan legacy adviser Nancy Kirkham.
A couple of guests commented: 'I am very impressed by the help and support you give and will consider remembering you in my will please send me a codicil form. I do a direct debit to Macmillan for the support they showed for my late wife. I also intended to leave a gift to Macmillan in my will.'
Gifts in wills are vital in enabling Macmillan to provide medical, emotional, financial and practical support now and for future generations of people affected by cancer.
If you’re interested in finding out more information on leaving a gift to Macmillan in your will, please get in touch with Nancy on 020 7091 2424 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit Macmillan's legacy pages.
